"A proud church", say Cherry & Pevsner. Also an extremely pleasant one to visit, because of its width, lightness and grace. An excellent wagon roof with interesting bosses. A thorough architectural description is at http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-93055-church-of-st-andrew-sampford-courtenay . The fine tower doesn't really curve as this wide angle image suggests.
