This is a very diverse square, with some lovely photos already taken. Here is another aspect of the area - industry and allotments adjacent to Plaum's Pit, which is just behind those trees. Taken early on a very frosty morning. The name Kiln Lane leads me to believe that there were brick kilns here in the past, the clay for the bricks presumably coming from Plaum's Pit.
