The Parish church for the village of Donington. It was founded in 1085 by Roger de Montgomery, at a time when King William I (William the Conqueror) was still on the throne of England. The present structure seems to be rather later than that, with parts from the 14th & possibly 13th centuries, with much later work and heavily restored in 1878/79. Image Image Image Image Image
