In the early post-WW2 London Transport style of architecture. The garage and adjoining bus station are on the site of the original District Line Hounslow Town Station. After initial closure when the railway was extended to Hounslow Barracks (now Hounslow West), it was later reopened before closing for good in 1909, being replaced by a new Hounslow East station on the through line.
