The Linotype Works, Bridgewater Canal

The massive Linotype Machinery Company works which was built in 1897 on the south bank of the Bridgewater Canal. It is the only substantial complex left on the Broadheath Industrial Park, which had the distinction of being the world's first industrial park, pre-dating Trafford Park by a decade.
