This is the A485 from Lampeter on its approach to Tregaron. Off to the left is the B4342 to Stag's Head, Llangeitho, Talsarn and eventually New Quay. Before being upgraded, just beyond the junction there used to be a kink in the road to negotiate a stone bridge over the former Manchester and Milford Railway, fully closed by 1970.
