These Welsh Black cows with their calves seemed suspicious of me even at a distance. The pastures slope gently towards the Afon Teifi, beyond which the woodland on the hillside is south of the farm at Argoed-fach. The nearer coniferous plantation is adjacent to the farm at Trecefel.
