This church is a dominant feature on a corner of Grove Road. It is situated next to a school and at the perimeter of the prison buildings. It is the property of the prison which has been trying to sell it for a number of years, but the listed building status involves a number of responsibilities and restrictions which have deterred buyers. The Church is no longer used. Parts of its interior were decorated by prisoners from Portland and Dorchester.
