It is not yet properly light on this winter's morning and Levita House, part of the Ossulston Estate, still has plenty of lights on. The block, designed by architect George Topham-Forrest, was built in the 1920s as part of a London County Council slum clearance scheme and has been extensively refurbished in recent years. It was named after Colonel Levita, chairman of the LCC's housing committee at the time of its construction.
