The sign on the right commands STRICTLY NO VEHICLES but it would be difficult to get anything wider than a motorbike past the yellow metal barrier. Formerly a railway bridge, now reduced to a footbridge with half its width fenced off. The bridge connects Powys Road on this side of the River Taff with Bridge Road on the opposite side. It provides a convenient route for walkers to Treforest Estate railway station. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2753225 On the side of the bridge there are gas pipelines spanning the river.
