The Belfast – Bangor road is a mixture of dual carriageway and four lanes. The last section (approximately from Ballyrobert to Springhill), is dual carriageway, with right turns controlled by traffic lights, subject to a 60mph speed limit enforced by average-speed cameras (one of which is visible on the right, beside the white van). This stretch bypassed the former Belfast Road Image into Bangor.
