View northward, towards Gloucester: ex-Midland Birmingham - Bristol main line, parallelled by ex-GWR amin line to Swindon etc. The train is headed by Fowler LMS 6'9" 3-cylinder Compound No. 41074, built c. 1925, recently repainted in 'British Railways' livery, and withdrawn 8/54.
