Sefton Park Grotto

This is the larger of the 2 grottoes in the park and is referred to as "Old Nick's Cave" It was built around 1870 by French rockwork specialist M.Combaz and originally contained a waterfall that flowed out into the mirror pond in front of the Grotto.
