A report to assess the likely implications of the proposed regeneration scheme for the North Dock at Seaham harbour was produced in October-November 2005. The report details the historic development of the harbour, as well as a brief review of the longer term archaeological record in and around Seaham and concludes that in broad terms there are no objections to the proposed development.
