Buses on the High Road during a busy Boxing Day for the shops. Closest is a First operated number 18 which normally routes between Sudbury & Harrow Road Station and Euston. The 18 is a high frequency route on which the Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B9TL's like the one in this photo replaced Bendybuses just over a year ago. The service frequency is 6-7 minutes through the middle of the day. I suspect that some extra's were being run also to alleviate the effects of a strike on the London Underground - I note that this vehicle is turning short at Harlesden.
