This tiny boatyard is dominated by the large crane and the interesting decorative sculpture. Although the sign says Calder and Hebble Navigation, my understanding is that this is the actual river Calder and the Navigation is the canal that takes a short cut across the bend in the Calder and thus omits the weir just behind the photographer.
