Part of the remnants of the old town of Abergavenny with a warren of narrow lanes and paths, mainly replaced by re-developments in the 1960s, as can be seen from the view of the rear of the Post Office and telephone exchange building behind. The pub here, the Hen and Chickens, is one of the town's gems.
