Looking south-east along the short tidal River Haven which connects the Wash (ahead) to the docks and the River Witham (behind). The light was curious. It was a mostly gloomy morning, but the sun lurked behind the thick blanket of cloud and periodically forcefully revealed itself through small holes. I think the photo is darker than the reality because the shot was taken into the sun.
