This primary school was built in 1908, but the two main buildings were reduced to one when incendiaries gutted the upper following a Luftwaffe raid. A small dining hall was hastily erected on the site, but that was replaced with the new building seen here in 2009. A benchmark was cut into the stone wall: Image
