The familiar orange, hardworking, versatile mobile machine is using a spike to widen and extend a trench (away from the camera) for the replacement sewer. Also in the frame: a section of plastic sewer pipe and the grounded end of the big green hydraulic crane being used to assemble an underground chamber which, guessing, is a holding tank for storm water. In the foreground: laying new tarmac on a reinstated section of the Parade.
