The Farriers Arms

Situated at the corner of College Place and Lower Dagnall Street. Operated by Hertford brewers McMullens, it hosted the first ever meeting of CAMRA, the campaign for Real Ale, on 20 November 1972. The building is locally listed. In the background on the left is the tower of the former Christ Church.
