This hospital located near Melrose just off the A6091, was opened in 1988. Serving as a community hospital for the central Borders, with a bed capacity of approximately 330, it provides a comprehensive range of acute inpatient services. The hospital also has a range of supporting services, including laboratory, pharmacy, physiotherapy and radiology offering C.T. and M.R.I. services.
