New War Memorial

The old memorial was to the left of entrance to St Giles church. When local soldier, Corporal Liam Riley, lost his life in Afghanistan and was brought home to be interred in the village, it was decided to have a new memorial built nearer the heart of the village. This was built early 2011 and is inscribed with the names of all the fallen from Killamarsh.
