Southwark War Memorial, Borough High Street

The memorial commemorates the men of St Saviour's parish who died in the First World War. St. Saviour's parish church was, in the Middle Ages, the Priory of St Mary Overie, and is now Southwark Cathedral, a short distance further up Borough High Street. See Image for a detail.
