One of the entries running from Ann Street to High Street (background). The date of building does not seen to be recorded but they are probably the last survivors of the streets built after settlement by Scots in the 17th century. The area was then very close to the commercial quay although subsequent reclamations make this difficult to appreciate today. Image shows the view to Ann Street.
