View eastward, towards Accrington, Burnley, Colne and Hellifield: ex-L&Y (East Lancs. section). Stanier 5MT 4-6-0 No. 45095 was built in 1935 and here in 1965 is reduced to working a lowly freight, but it was one of the very last survivors at the End of Steam in 8/68.
