View westward towards Gloucester and near Badgeworth Box east of Churchdown: ex-GW & Midland Joint line (see Image] and others). This is a very typical Summer Saturday scene of the day. The train was the Saturdays Only 09.15 from the Locking Road subsidiary station at Weston, 09.55 from Bristol Temple Meads and was due - with luck - at Sheffield at 14.30. The locomotive is Stanier 5MT 4-6-0 No. 44918 (built 12/45, withdrawn 1/67).
