Lumiere will consist of two towers of a height of 54 storeys (171 m) and 32 storeys (112 m) both of which are to be clad in glass, one blue, the other reddish. It will be the tallest building in Britain outside London and the tallest residential building in Europe. Construction will start in 2007. It actually started in early 2008, but piling and foundation work stopped in summer 2008 and it was announced that the project had been postponed. See Image] (There was an official website called www lumiereaboveall com , but that has disappeared now that construction has ceased. Try Skyscraper News http://www.skyscrapernews.com/news.php?ref=751 ) Update 2018 - ultimately a much smaller building of about 10 storeys was built on the site in 2016/17
