Handsome Georgian house, very plain except for the Doric porch, but elegantly proportioned. It was built c1774. Grade II listed. A Hull City Council plaque records that it served as a branch of the Bank of England from 1828, and from 1860 (for an unspecified duration) was a sailors' home. The main entrance on Salthouse Lane is shown here.
