In the closing scene of the film having missed the train Billy walks home up the hill, joined by his imaginary army. This was filmed roughly opposite 16 Spennithorne Avenue, West Park Leeds 16. The house still sports its unique iron gates. In the film Billy is then 'edited' back to Midland Road, adjoining 37 Hinchliffe Avenue Baildon, the house used for the film.
