The town of Lewes basks in bright winter sunshine. The main station building, on the right of the photo, stands between the converging lines from Wivelsfield to the north and Brighton to the southwest. The South Mimms Travel minicoach on the left has brought the visiting Wingate & Finchley football team to the town for their match against Lewes FC, 'The Rooks'. Their stadium is behind me on my right.
