This building, on the junction of Old Lodge Lane (on the left) and Reedham Drive (on the right) is a built on the site of the Reedham Orphanage that stood here. It is now occupied by the Reedham Trust. On the wall is a blue plaque which reads "Reedham Orphanage Founded in 1844 by Rev. D. Andrew Reed Stood on this hillside from 1856-1979"
