One of several access points into the popular country park. The monument marks the estate boundary from whence the nearby village and country park supposedly get their name (Loggerheads referring to two 18th century local landowners who couldn't agree amicably regarding respective land boundaries and went into lengthy and costly litigation rather than compromise).
