This ancient oak in the grounds of Radley College is the subject of all sorts of guesses at its age. Anything from 300 to 1000+ seems to have been quoted. http://www.radleyvillage.org.uk/ourvillage/history/RadleyOak.htm There is a new pub named after it in nearby North Abingdon.
