Quite an impressive building. Stone with a regular grid of large windows in concrete surrounds, five bronze relief figures, and a honeycomb arrangement of windows on the side. By J.M. Milner, Grimsby's Borough Architect, in 1968. The five eleven-foot figures are known as the 'Guardians of Knowledge' and symbolically protect the new centre of learning and culture.
