A commanding and unusually impressive tower block, by Skinner & Bailey, 1964-66. It is, in fact, two separate towers joined by a circular service tower. The surface patterning, composed of brick and concrete, is most distinctive - it was designed by Berthold Lubetkin, the architects' former partner, who had a predeliction for such decoration (Image]).
