Derwen cross, west side

The historic old preaching cross was once the location for visiting ministers to spread the word to the local populace. Thought to date from possibly the late fifteenth century, the west face depicts the Crucifixion. See Image] for the other side of the top of the shaft and Image] for a wider view.
