See Image Irish Fertiliser Industries Limited had two factories – one at Shelton Abbey, near Arklow and one inside the Belfast Harbour estate which, long after the name change, continued to be known, locally, as “Richardson’s”. Liquefied ammonia gas was brought by coastal tanker from Marino Point (near Cork) Image – Belfast harbour lost its rail connection in 1970. The wharf’s official name was never changed and remains so today. The ship is the “Linegas”.
