At the eastern end of Barnton Tunnel on the Trent and Mersey Canal is a bend where the canal opens up to a wide basin as far as Runcorn Road Bridge, No 201. That rebuilt bridge, which carries the widened A533 between Runcorn and Northwich, is shown in this image.
