Formerly called The Trumpet (Inn). This very popular roadside and canalside public house has been transformed in recent years by its reasonably priced (and delicious) carvery, and superb (currently £2.99*) breakfasts from 7 am. Added to that, the ale is priced lower than most public houses, and is well kept. *£3.79 in August 2013.
