The local shops try hard to attract customers in a town where 3 of the big 4 supermarket chains have a foothold, one with a large shop and car park, and two smaller outlets. This is the current window display of The Malton Relish, a nice mix of deli, groceries, and cafe with furniture and antiques upstairs.
