These are concrete towers constructed using interlocking concrete blocks that are held in place by metal hoops or bands. Forage material is blown up a tube on the outside and falls freely on the inside until it is full. A certain amount of compression takes place and this adds to the rigidity of the structure. The feed is extracted at the base when required.
