Apple pressing, Colwall

On Colwall's Apple Day people are bringing their own apples for pressing into juice. The first stage is to cut the apples into two or four pieces with a knife. Then the apple pieces are sliced up in one machine. Next (as seen in the picture) the sliced apples are put into a second "scratting" machine to chop the apples quite finely before finally the apples are crushed in the circular press.
