Unloved and unmanned this fine example of a mid-Victorian railway station has justifiably attracted a lot of criticism for the way it has been allowed to deteriorate. It is a Grade II listed building (description at this http://www.heritagegateway.org.uk/Gateway/Results_Single.aspx?uid=1258253&resourceID=5).
