View northward, towards New Cross Gate and London Bridge: ex-LB&SC main line from London Bridge. The train is on the Down Slow line, the disc-code indicating that it had come from Hither Green Sidings, which was a long way round! The locomotive is SR Maunsell N class 2-6-0 No. 31825 (built 12/23, withdrawn 10/63).
