View NW from a parallel train, this one is on Eastern No. 3 Down line, on the unique 11-track stretch from London Bridge to Spa Road. The locomotive is Wainwright/Maunsell class D1 4-4-0 No. 31741 (built as a D in 3/1902, rebuilt to D1 in 2/27, withdrawn 9/59).
