View SW, towards Woking and the West: ex-LSW main line from Waterloo, junction for Virginia Water loop. The 08.15 from Plymouth (Friary) and Torrington etc. is headed by rebuilt Bulleid Pacific No. 35008 'Orient Line' (built 6/42 as 21C8, rebuilt 5/57, withdrawn - one of the last - 7/67); it has taken over the express at Salisbury.
