The Station Road runs, in a straight line, from the Shore Road to the Upper Road (the “top road”) except for this short stretch where it approaches the Belfast – Larne railway. It deviates, as it approaches the underbridge, before resuming the original straight course on the other (north western side), where it becomes the Upper Station Road.
