This is typical Fen country with wide open skies, a straight drainage river disappearing into the distance, and isolated farms and houses. This is just downriver of Baston Fen Nature Reserve. The River Glen is away to the left and the Counter Drain Washes between the Glen and the Counter Drain are on the left here.
