My apologies for the pun ! The Rothschild family used to own Waddesdon Manor until they gave it to the nation via the National Trust in 1957. They are still intimately involved with the place, and still own parts such as The Dairy - where these vines are growing. Of course the Rothschilds own some rather more valuable vines than these, as two of the World's greatest wines, Chateau Mouton-Rothschild and Chateau Lafite are owned by the family firm.
